Registration Process

You join the leagues through Discord. Signing up gives you a league, then you register separately for each week you want to play. You don’t need to participate every week.

Join a league

  1. Join the Discord server and get the ranked role in #roles-react.
  2. Link Discord to your Minecraft account in the MCSR Ranked client. Use /link for instructions, then /ranked to check that the bot finds the right account.
  3. Head to #league-signups and use /signup. Wait for the reviewer to approve your placement. You’ll get a league role and access to that league’s channels, where the hosts announce when and how to play.

Play in a week

Registration opens about an hour before the event, and you’ll be pinged when it opens. Check the announced time, then:

  1. Use /reg in your league’s chat channel. If you’re streaming, use /reg streaming:true. Save your Twitch username with /twitch first if it isn’t connected on Ranked.
  2. Check the bot’s reply to make sure you’re registered.
  3. Join the room with the code provided in your league channel and speedrun the game.

Registration closes when the host closes it or imports the first match. While we don’t recommend late registrations, ask a host if you need to join after that.

If you can’t make it, use /unreg to drop out while registration is open. If registration has already closed, don’t worry. If you don’t play any seeds, you’ll be listed as missed below the standings and your performance history won’t change. Playing a seed without completing it still counts as participation.
